Expensive gift you feel guilty about

Anyone else get an expensive piece of gear as a gift and feel weird using it hard? I got a nice knife last Christmas and I'm almost too nervous to actually use it in the field. It feels like I should save it or something

I got a high-end scope once and ended up babying it forever..It is hard to fully enjoy expensive gear in the field

I’ve felt that too, my nephew gave me a premium scope as a gift and I hesitated to really use it
