Okay, here's a Picture of the Day thread for strange firearms. Post pics of any unusual firearms you find. I'll start with this crazy old pistol that I think has some weird engineering. You can also add a note about its history or why it's interesting, let's see your weird finds

This is my Veteran Arms Military blunderbuss, a 16" brass barrel, 75 cal, flintlock. It's thick and hefty.

My load was thirty pellets of #4 buckshot pushed with 80 gr FFFg. I used a coffee filter for an overpowder wad and an overshot wad.

I'm considering using it next year to get a whitetail. But I might replace the buckshot with a .710 cal patched roundball (536 gr).
