The move to make things smaller and lighter went too far. The Scandium, LCRs, and all the other Lites are painful to shoot, and I like to practice with my CCW a lot. And, although the LCP and KelTec P32 are pocket friendly, there's nothing to grip.

I wish they'd start making, or resurrect, compact 32 ACPs with 3½" barrels and 10-rd mags like my Savage 1907 32 ACP.

Since 2018 I've used a rigid Safariland pocket holster to comfortably carry a 2" S&W Model 10 or a RIA Model 206, still available on Amazon. I first used it with a 2½" Charter Arms 44 Bulldog.

A 6-shot, steel frame 38 Special revolver can be carried in your pocket comfortably.

I have a custom leather pocket holster on order for the Savage.

I’m with you. Ultra-light sounds good on paper but it’s no fun when you actually practice
