Lol just kidding. But my CCW is chambered in 32 s&w. I'm always looking for ammo with better penetration than the big-bramd mass produced stuff, which is all soft LRN with 8-10 in. of penetration in gel tests. Always looking for alternatives that may exceed that.

I've got all of Steinel's offerings, and I've got some old Lubaloy stuff (including the late-production specimens, where the coating is harder and stiffer).

There's 3 more im itching to get my hands on:

1) Fiocchi Range Dynamics/Fiocchi Heritage, 85 grain FMJ

2) Old Western Scrounger, 93 grain hand-cast LRN

3) Reed's, 60 grain JHP

Has anyone had eyes on these recently, and if so, where, so I can get in touch with the appropriate establishment?

Your title got me!
Fiocchi pops up occasionally but the others are rare best bet is specialty stores or backorder lists.

You’re deep in the rabbit hole, those loads are unicorns.

Yeah I'm noticing that. I do have all three of Steinel's loadings: a 72gr fmj at 710 fps, a 90gr poly-coated flat point at 640 fps, and a 78gr poly-coated lrn at 720 fps, and these last two are harder lead than the mainstream factory stuff, so all three are gonna penetrate better.

I also have some late-production Lubaloy where the coating is stiffer and harder, so that should.

I have the Wisconsin 80gr at 675 fps and the Reed's 77gr at 650 fps, so those are probably going to just equal the factory stuff. The load-x is SASS compliant so it will lag behind the rest although I do have some, and I'm debating whether or not to get the Ventura, because it's the same exact ballistics as the load-x.

You’re one chronograph away from writing peer-reviewed papers on ballistic personality differences. :)
