I've shot guns for years and it's easy to get lazy. So recently I've been reviewing my grip, stance and trigger pull.. and my groups are tighter. Even experienced shooters can get better by going back to basics. What drills do you use to stay consistent?

I learned that expensive items won’t correct bad habits…once I slowed down and focused on basic skills again, my shots finally got tighter.

Yeah @Thommy Pricey stuff won't make up for crummy skills. Gently squeezing the trigger slowly costs less and works better than any cool scope. I bet some will disagree.

Absolutely agree, gear can’t replace good fundamentals. Slowing down and focusing on the basics always makes the biggest difference in accuracy and consistency

Here's a simple drill: Put a nickel on your gun's front sight. If it falls off when you pull the trigger, you're jerking the gun.

The balance-of-power drill is good, I also practice shooting at 3x5 cards and switching between my strong and support hands every week

I like the 3x5 card, it's one of the best ways to improve your shot
