Guns I bought just to complete a collection

I bought a .40 S&W just because I had 9mm and .45 ACP and felt like I should have all three service calibers represented. I've shot it maybe twice. It doesn't do anything my other guns don't do better. Sometimes we buy guns for completionist reasons that make no practical sense, and that's okay,hobbies don't have to be practical.

I think most collectors have a gun or two like that. They fill a spot but hardly ever come out of the safe. Sometimes the collecting side of the hobby takes over.
