Desert Eagles look incredible in photos with the all chrome and intimidation. In reality, they're finicky, heavy and the ammo costs as much as a car payment. Same with some of those fancy competition race guns covered in cuts and ports. Instagram loves them, but I'd take a bone-stock Glock that actually runs over a pretty gun that jams any day.

My flashiest pistol jammed twice per magazine, but sure looked fantastic doing absolutely nothing useful though.

Totally! Some guns look amazing online, but feel terrible when you're actually shooting. I'd pick a simple pistol over a fancy one that constantly needs fixing any day.
