I actually use maybe five guns regularly. But I own way more than that. The rest are just because I wanted them, not needed them. There's what you actually shoot and then there's the whole collection. What's your "actually use" number compared to your total number?

I shoot four regularly and own a lot more than that. The extras are mood pieces or history pieces. I am fine admitting not everything needs to earn range time.

My CCW revolvers get the most use in practice and plinking: 2” S&W Model 10 and 2” RIA Model 206. Both are 6-shot 38 Specials.

I picked up a Charter Arms XL 45 Colt Bulldog a couple days ago. If after a few hundred rounds, it proves itself, it will become my new CCW. I like slow, heavy-for-caliber bullets. I load 255 gr LSWCs at about 700 fps.

Some guns I use very rarely, like my brass-barrel blunderbuss. I enjoy simply owning them and wiping them down occasionally. I regret selling some of my guns. So I won’t be doing that anymore.
