Planning a trip to visit family and trying to figure out the best route. I'd like to bring a firearm with me, but driving through New York State complicates things quite a bit. I've looked into alternative routes, but avoiding NY adds a ridiculous amount of drive time. I'm curious if anyone else has dealt with this kind of situation and what you decided to do.
