Casual Range Wear: What Works and What Doesn't

Been thinking about what to wear when heading to the range. Not looking for full gear setups, just some regular clothes that work.

I've noticed lately that camo can feel a bit out of place, especially for just shooting a few rounds or doing some basic drills. It seems like it's more suited for the woods than the range, but maybe that's just me being picky.

I've been sticking to neutral colors: jeans, a plain shirt, and sturdy boots. I mean, comfort is key and sandals are definitely out of the question for obvious reasons. Plus, I want to avoid that whole 'tacticool' look.

Is it just me, or do others share this vibe? What do you guys usually wear? Looking for some ideas or reassurance that I'm not totally overthinking this.

I need pockets. Cargo pants/shorts, tee with pocket, a safari or BDU coat with roll-up sleeves, and sturdy shoes (no sneakers). That's everyday wear, whether I'm going shooting or not. I carry a 6-shot 38 Special revolver.

You are too concerned about your looks. Relax. It's a not a fashion show.

I don't get dressed for shooting. I just wear everyday casual clothes. And kneepads. I shoot with one knee on the ground a lot and the gravel HURTS. And a wide brim hat to keep ejected cases from going down my collar. I wear that everywhere anyway.
