I want to hear the absolutely wildest misconceptions you've encountered. Someone once asked me if we hunt with assault rifles. Another thought deer season meant all deer everywhere. What's the most ridiculous thing a non-hunter has said to you?

Someone asked me once if I needed a sniper scope to shoot deer from miles away. Someone else thought hunting meant you could shoot anything in the woods. I just laughed and explained that's not how it works.

Once someone asked if I needed night-vision goggles to hunt deer, they genuinely thought it was a high-tech, 24/7 operation.
