I have been tinkering with an old black powder revolver and finding parts has been more of a hunt than I thought. Cylinders, springs, and screws don't always seem easy to source. I need recommendations on where to find reliable parts

Chasing down specific black powder revolver parts can be a real headache. You gotta hit up the specialists for that kind of old iron, you can check out Dixie Gun Works and VTI Gun Parts, they usually stock hard-to-find cylinders and those tricky little screws for popular models

Oder black powder parts can be tricky to source. I’d be careful about fitment though, some reproduction parts don’t always match vintage specs perfectly

You can check out Trader John's Gun Shop in Winchester. They carry a ton of black powder supplies and accessories. If they don't have that specific screw or spring you need, they're the kind of shop that'll usually special order it for ya. It's a great place to start your hunt
